    Only method 3 worked. But that leaves the update uninstalled. So it is not a real fix.

    Thanks for the detailed step-by step instruction in case my Windows 7 fails to install KB4103712 Update. My Belarc Advisor never showed KB4103718, but you claim they both basically fix the same vulnerability. Since I mostly run many flavors of Linux these days, I found it hilarious and rather funny that you wrote: "Many times this folder becomes corrupted…" and started the Repair Article with the following: "On some Windows 7 based corrupters, the security updates KB4103718 & KB4103712 fail to install…" Ha ha ha my Windoze 7 is not a computer but a giant CORRUPTER :-|
