Office 2016 Language Packs (or Language Accessory Packs), are additional packages that offered from Microsoft in order to change the display language for the ribbon menu and commands in Office 2016 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), to a language of your choice and to use the spell checker, grammar check and thesaurus (proofing tools) on that language.

Step 2. Configure Office 2016 Language Pack.
1. After you have downloaded your preferred language pack, double click at the .exe file and follow the on screen instructions to install it.
2. After installation, open any Office program (e.g. Word 2016) and from the File menu select Options.
3. At the left side, choose Language.
4. At Language Preferences window you can:
A. Change the default editing language, by choosing your preferred language and pressing the "Set as Default" button.
B. Change the default display language for the ribbon menus and commands. (The default option is the System Language).
C. Change the default Help language.

Hello,
I`m getting the error code : 30029-1011(0) when i`m trying to install the En pack on a German registered one (Office 2016 Pro plus)
Do you have any idea what do i have to do? Is it possible to modify it with changing any thing in the structure of the files.

A Abodoh: Download again the languapack from here and then try to install it. If the problem persists, try to Repair or to Reinstall Office.

When I installing Indonesian language pack, it seemed like the office took times to download it as if the office was reinstalled in the background. Is that true? Why is that? Do we need two or more office installation just to get needed language packs?

The links give OfficeSetup.exe, and when running, it says that the office is already installed. I would expect the link gives the LanguagePack instead…

I tried to change my Excel to Japanese because I need to analyse Japanese opendata, and with y english settings the japanese characters don't show (instead it's just a series of unreadable special characters)
So I tried downloading the japanese pack but it says that it can't be installed since I already have office 2016 installed… I just need the data encoding to be able to read japanese data, not turn my whole pack office in japanese.. Anyone has an idea ?
